ئەی ڕەقیب، ھەر ماوە قەومی کوردزمان،نایشکێنێ دانەری تۆپی زەمان.

Ey reqîb, her mawe qewmî kurdziman,Nayşikênê danerî topî zeman.

Documented text variants

Verse three is sung both with her nîştiman (the homeland) and with her Kurdistan; both circulate widely.
Spelling differs between sources: kurdziman as one word or two, mirdiwe or mirdûwe, alakeman or allakeman. We normalise to one consistent Hawar reading; scholarly transliterations additionally mark the letters ڕ and ڵ.
The English Wikipedia article shows the verses in a different order in its romanization column than in its Arabic script and IPA columns. We follow the Arabic script and IPA order, independently confirmed by nationalanthems.info.
An older variant of the poem, with partly different lines and an additional verse honouring the fallen, is preserved on Wikisource, signed Kerkûk. It is shown there as a historical document, not as the sung anthem.
